A well-established growing machine manufacturer looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join the company.
My client is seeking a proficient Project Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess suitable qualifications along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Engineering Project work.
A hands-on approach to project management and engineering tasks is essential. This role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including project management, assembly, installation, commissioning, documentation, and quality assurance. Additionally, collaboration and support across various departments such as refurbishment, workshop management, sales, and service will be integral to success.
Duties
Develop work plans, and brief project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure adherence to set timescales and budget constraints.
Facilitate invoicing by compiling all project-related information.
Identify areas for process improvement within contracting processes.
Execute projects according to customer specifications.
Work with in-house designs, drawings, and quality standards.
Conduct quality control checks on manufactured parts.
Create and update bills of materials.
Ensure staff safety during site work.
Prepare and verify documentation for site work commencement.
Ensure the availability of necessary tools, parts, and information.
Supervise site team activities.
The Candidate
Practical background in engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years combined experience in Engineering Project work.
Knowledge of construction, building regulations, and planning.
Commercial awareness.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent relationship-building skill
Ideally, an HND or degree qualification in engineering, design, or project management.
Proficiency in mathematics and IT.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Deadline-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Understanding of health and safety protocols.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £40,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
