An average day in the life
This role will be required to collaborate with Technology and Department Leads, and the PMO Team Leader, to plan and oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects. The Project Manager will be required to work within the evolving scope of Flight Centres Project Management Office (PMO), demonstrating an ability to adapt & comply to processes, templates, and team systems. Focusing on delivering medium sized internal projects and providing PMO administrative support, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects independently across the EMEA region as well as supporting the team in the delivery of larger/global programmes of work.
Role Dimensions:
- Reports to PMO Team Leader and Head of PMO
- Occasionally required to work out of hours (late nights / weekends)
- Close liaison with multiple teams across Europe & other regions
- Work with external suppliers & partners as appropriate
- Follow PMO documentation workflow, reporting schedule and best practices
- Qualified in Project / Program Management using leading methodologies (Agile or Prince2 Practitioner)
- Experience in delivering a project(s) end to end
- Excellent knowledge of the travel or technology industries
- Experience of Microsoft Technologies
- Experience of Project Management tools i.e. Smartsheet, Wrike
- Experience of working to and exceeding targets i.e. KPIs, OKRs
- Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
