Hays Technology are recruiting a Project Officer to join a growing public sector organisation within the Leeds area.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for leading on projects and change across the organisation with a specific focus on the pipeline and procurement of due diligence services whilst ensuring the projects deliver outcomes inline with the organisation's objectives. You will be creating and leading projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints and tracking the delivery of the required services to meet these timelines, tracking and updating stakeholders along the way.
You will be leading the gathering of requirements for a range of projects, ensuring they are validated, signed off, and represent the key stakeholders\' needs, whilst building effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation. You will be triaging due diligence requests, aligning to banking pipeline, reporting, identifying trends, and ensuring the required outcomes to deliver deal team requirements.
What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of project management processes and approaches
• Knowledge of procurement processes and how they are delivered, including the required controls, including public sector procurement
• Experience of delivering change within a multi-functional team
• Solid understanding of how to interpret user and business needs and translate them into process, application, and operational requirements
• Experience of delivering multiple types of change (IT, process, people)
• Exceptional ability to manage and govern a portfolio of change, including clear reporting and accountability for outcomes
