Stirling Council is one of the 32 council areas of Scotland and is located in the heart of Scotland.The area borders a number of other the council areas including Clackmannanshire (to the east), North Lanarkshire (to the south), Falkirk (to the south east), Perth and Kinross (to the north and north east), Argyll and Bute (to the north and north west), and both East and West Dunbartonshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to join our Public Health and Pollution Team.As our Public Health and Pollution Team Leader you will work within the Regulatory Service and your role will include:• Providing leadership to a team of professional officers.• Developing and managing the Team to ensure that the service is tailored to secure the best possible outcomes.• Engage effectively with the Food Health and Safety Team to drive forward continuous improvement.• Manage specified budgets. As our Public Health and Pollution Team Leader you will ensure that the Council discharges statutory duties to enforce an extensive range of complex legislation while working in an area of outstanding natural beauty. This would be an excellent opportunity for professional development while delivering an effective, reliable and customer focused Service.Requirements
