Purchase Ledger / Permanent opportunity / Lisburn
Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in Lisburn who have a stable finance team and a lovely opportunity for an experience Purchase Ledger Clerk.
This is a permanent opportunity, office based and the hours of work are 8.45am to 5pm and an early finish on Friday.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will manage all aspects of the Purchase Ledger process, working both independently and as part of the team.
Specific duties include:
Maintaining Purchase ledger (250+ invoices per month)
Processing purchase invoices in multi-currency
Reconciling statements to supplier accounts
Dealing with and resolving invoice and payment queries
Processing employee expense claims
Assisting with manual payment runs and sundry invoices
Assisting with monthly BACS runs
Assisting with close down of Purchase ledger at month end
Any other related duties as required by the Finance Team for the smooth running of the finance function
The Person:
Applicants should have previous Purchase Ledger experience ideally working in a fast moving environment
Applicants will be able to take ownership of the Purchase Ledger and work independently as well as part of the team
Applicants will have a positive attitude and will be a team player.
