We are seeking a diligent and organised Purchase Ledger & Admin Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and accounting support tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Proficiency in Sage 200 is preferred but not essential.
Day to Day of the Role:- Processing purchase invoices and maintaining the Purchase Ledger using Sage 200.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing payment runs and managing accounts payable.
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Handling administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and responding to emails.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 200.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
