Reed is partnered with a property management company in Central Cambridge looking for a Purchase Ledger assistant on a temporary basis, 3 months with potential extension. As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing the financial transactions related to supplier invoices.
Job Title: Purchase ledger assistant
Location: Central Cambridge (hybrid option available)
Job type: Temporary 3 months with potential extension
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high volume of invoices
- Reconciling suppliers’ statement and Purchase Ledger accounts
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Setting up new suppliers and maintain accurate records
- Assisting with month ends closure
- Supporting the department with other administrative tasks
While previous experience in Purchase Ledger is desirable, it is not mandatory. We welcome enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are essential in this role.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
