Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing business in Gloucester on the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk, to be responsible for managing and maintaining the Purchase Ledger function.
Our client is one of Europe's leading specialists in their area and have experienced impressive growth over the last few years. They are continuing to go from strength to strength and are excited to be adding to their Finance team to support in this growth.
This is a full time and permanent position, and is fully office based. Core office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:15pm.
Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include but are not limited to:
- Processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring the accurate entry of data into accounting systems.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders, managing queries and issues with a proactive approach.
- Supporting the wider finance team with mid and end of month payment runs.
- Bank reconciliations and supplier statements.
Your Profile:
- Prior experience working in an accounts payable/Purchase Ledger position.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting and finance procedures.
- System skills, ideally having used Sage 50 and ERP systems.
- Previous experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £25,000 - £28,000 plus a bonus scheme, pension, private healthcare and more.
