Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reed Accountancy have recently again partnered up with a thriving logistics business who are looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their finance function. The ideal candidate will be able to showcase previous experience in a similar role.

The Role

• Managing the Purchase Ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.
• Providing an indispensable service to the finance team, underpinning the wider financial stability of the business through their robust processes and systems.
• Matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements, and working out VAT payments.
• Having experience in Purchase Ledger management and being able to work efficiently and accurately.
• Having excellent communication skills and being able to work well under pressure.
• Being able to work independently and as part of a team.

The Person 

• Previous Experience in a similar role
• Strong IT skills including MS Office
• Experience with multi currency
