This role is based at our Herbert Parkinson Textile Factory in Darwen, Lancashire.
The salary range for this role is set at £23,700 to £27,200 per annum. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm.
This is a 6 month secondment opportunity.
About the role
An operational role within the Purchasing Department with specific emphasis administration tasks. You will be responsible for providing good customer service and to be the face of Herbert Parkinson with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
As an Administration Assistant within the Purchasing Department you will provide administration support for raising purchase orders, data inputting, purchase order chasing and general system housekeeping. As part of this role you may also be required to research and review ad hoc purchasing requests from around the Branch. You will aim to create best practice processes and outcomes within the role and strive to achieve branch and departmental objectives through personal and team performance.
