Our client is currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant, this is an exciting opportunity to join their team on a temporary basis. They are an amazing company to work for with a strong reputation. In this role, your focus will be working with the manager improving the sales and operations planning process.
Description of the role:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming goods and supply chain data.
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with the Line Manager to optimise inventory levels and minimise costs.
- Place and order products in accordance with company requirements.
- Analyse and export data with use of excel.
About you:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is advantageous.
- Ability to analyse data and generate conclusions.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Confident, articulate, and proactive.
