About the Company
Our client is an established and growing manufacturer and distributor of innovative and industry leading PVCU windows, doors and conservatories. The leadership team are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager who can support the growth of the business with cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Procurement Manager - The Rewards

Procurement Manager - Requirements
- CIPS Level 5 or over 5 years procurement and supply chain experience.
- Proficient in the vetting, sourcing and ongoing assessment of vendors.
- Confident and capable in submitting formal tenders and negotiating pricing and service level agreements.
- Fluent English communications skills - verbal and written.
- Experience with SAP desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills both internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently and/or effectively as part of a team.
Procurement Manager - Responsibilities
- Motivate, manage and support the purchasing team including 121's and setting KPI's.
- Continuous improvement of the purchasing strategy and function ensuring savings and increased efficiencies.
- Responsible for price and contract negotiation of c. £60M spend.
- Manage supplier relationships with ongoing review to ensure SLAs are met.
- Manage MRP for all direct inventory.
- Provide industry insight to internal teams.
