EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a precision engineering company located in Nottingham working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Our client manufactures small to medium-sized complex precision components for high-profile customers within a wide range of market-leading companies, therefore, we require a Quality Manager to join their existing talent team.
As a Quality Manager, you will play an integral part in the business by managing a small quality team to ensure compliance levels are adhered to and a high level of quality, health and safety is maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a team of quality inspectors with day to day activities
- Preparing for internal audits ensuring a high level of quality is maintained
- Ensuring QMS systems are kept up to date, maintained and improved
- Ensuring HSE standards are compliant and within required legislation
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years Quality Management experience
- Demonstrated history of managing a quality team
- Engineering / manufacturing background
- Exposure to welding, fabrication and CNC machining processes
- Proficient with ISO 9001 / AS 9100
- Confidence using/creating PPAPs, FAIRS, APQP, MSA, SPC etc
- Auditing experience
- Confidence in understanding health and safety requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
