ROLE: QUANTITY SURVEYOR / PROJECT SURVEYOR
LOCATION: Based from the Offices in Kent, within easy reach of M25, you may be searching for Project/ Quantity Surveyor jobs in Kent, Rochester, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Wrotham, Maidstone, Sidcup, Swanley, Orpington, Bromley, SE London, Essex.
SALARY: £50K-£58K basic plus mileage, company benefits, incentives, bonuses, onsite parking and company pension.
HOURS: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm
As QS/ Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the business, managing the financial aspects of projects, including cost control, budgeting, procurement, and contract management, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Day to day duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
- Managing procurement processes, tendering, contract administration, payments and final accounts.
- Monitoring and tracking project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Preparing cost value reconciliation & commercial reports.
- Ensuring company procedures, protocols and company policies are being adhered to.
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Surveyor, ideally with a Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying; a background in project management/ quantity surveying/ Commercial Management; a sound knowledge of quantity surveying principles, practices, and methodologies.
You will work well under pressure, with excellent organisational and forward planning skills, as well as strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
