About the Role
- Greeting and directing all patients.
- Making appointments and giving out appointment cards, where required.
- Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions, letters, completed forms, specimen bottles, etc.
- Dealing with requests for information, and managing problems and complaints.
- Advising patients of practice procedures.
- Registering new patients. Answering the telephone, promptly.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will need to have:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- The ability to work under pressure and always maintain confidentiality.
- Previous general practice experience and knowledge of SystmOne is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility as you will be required to work some late evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
