Receptionist required for 4* City Centre Hotel
Salary : £11.69 per hour (2 x 8 hour shifts, 16 hours in total)
Job Requirements:
2 x 8 hours shifts usually 3pm - 11pm (more hours may be available in summer if required)
Checking guests in and out
Maintaining a courteous and friendly guest service and anticipating guest needs
Process reservations competently
Cashiering and Banking (cashless property at present)
Completing Front Office documentation accurately and to strict deadlines
Excellent standard of written and spoken English
Good IT skills (full training will be provided)
Must know Edinburgh reasonably well
Other general duties as required
The Person:
Smart appearance
Excellent customer service skills
Hotel Reception experience or strong administration skills
Must have fluent spoken and written English
Good communicator at all levels
Ability to prioritise and multitask in a calm and effective manner
Attention to detail is paramount
Must be able to work on own and as part of a small team
Flexible approach with a great sense of humour
