Our well established client in Royston are looking for a Receptionist on a temporary basis to join their team.
This role will suit someone that has strong administrative experience ideally supporting a sales team or similar.
What you will do:
- Use the Company database (CERM) to record and maintain customer information, and to manage orders.
- Amend existing jobs (quantity increases/reductions etc).
- Raise repeat orders, ensure prices charged match the estimate.
- Ensure all jobs are inputted on the database in a timely manner, for the production teams to fulfil orders.
- Provide holiday cover for the General Administrator in the Account Management team, including sending order confirmations and proof approvals.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Support the Account Management team with amended repeat orders.
- Produce spreadsheets for costing models generated by the Account Management team.
- Support the Account Managers with any administrative requests.
What you will need:
- GCSE in English and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English language essential)
- Experience of using MS Office and databases.
- Pro-active and enthusiastic approach to work.
- An effective team player and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy & Effective problem-solving skills.
