Are you ready to take on a multi-faceted role working from Gym Reception and acting as a receptionist and business administrator across 2 companies?

Position:Receptionist/Administrator

Working Hours: 25 - 30 hours per week

Location: BodyZone Ladies Fitness, 9-11 Carliol Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 6UF

Role and Responsibilities:

As our Receptionist/Administrator you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the overall success of the gym and the well-being of our members. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing Gym Operations:

Ensure that the gym facilities are well-maintained, organized, and adhere to safety standards. Keep a watchful eye on the gym floor to provide assistance and support to members when needed.

Reception Duties:

Greet members with a warm and friendly demeanor

Answering all telephone calls using correct scripts

Taking cash and card payments from members

Signing up Ladies who come in to join (no high pressure sales)

Using and maximizing benefits of club membership software

Answering various emails from members regarding membership queries, cancellations etc

Putting together basic posters for the gym staff and classes

Working with the MD on administration for the various tenants (around 45 tenants) in the buildings which we own, including some basic credit control and receiving and sending emails.

General Housekeeping:

Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the gym, including equipment, common areas, and changing rooms. Ensure that the gym environment reflects our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience within an office-based role is required

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly disposition

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Passion for promoting women's health and fitness

- Experience using Microsoft Office
