Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist/administrator to join our team. As a Receptionist/administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing administrative support and ensuring efficient office operations. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is proficient in computer applications, and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors and patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Provide accurate information to callers or direct them to the appropriate person
- Take payments with Take payment terminals and via online facilities
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with data entry tasks using computer software programs
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and QuickBooks is desirable though not compulsory
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Note: This is a paid position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,077.00-£21,660.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
