gap healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Manager Children Services for a children s residential home situated near to Beccles, Suffolk. My client is well established and is a leading provider of children services and have continued to be awarded Good by Ofsted. The service is supporting 16+ young person s who are leaving residential to supported accommodation.
- Salary - GBP40,221 to GBP43,421 depending on experience and qualifications
- Hours Full time permanent vacancy

Responsibilities Registered Manager Children Services
- To supervise and offer constructive feedback and be involved in the assessment and supervision of staff.
- To advise on policies and procedures to reflect the aims and objectives of the Home; to develop systems for monitoring progress towards the achievement of such aims and objectives.
- To ensure services are delivered according to the statement of purpose for the home.
- Accessing development needs of residents and to monitor and improve Home's care plan and practices.
- To generate an open and supportive atmosphere between staff and residents.
- Manage and operate budgets within the agreed outlines of the Home.
- Ensure that a young person contributes as far as feasible in the review process.
- To ensure there is a plan for young people
- Create and develop links between the community and Home to enable children to participate fully in the life of the community.
Skills required Registered Manager Children Services
- Level 5 Diploma (Residential Childcare or equivalent).
- Experience within a similar service is required due to having a working knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
- Have experience in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.
- The passion and desire to motivate staff and service users to achieve their full potential.
- Preferred, commuting distance from Beccles, Suffolk.
