Form of workOur client who is a Reinsurance Company is looking for a Reinsurance Technician to join their expanding team to responsible for transactional processing.
Main Duties:
- Accurate and timely entry of underwriting data and Reinsurance contracts
- Chasing up accounts / tracking premiums.
- Tracking exposures on emerging issues and claims
- Assisting in quarterly reporting
- Processes for new and renewal treaty and facultative business
- Contributing to on-going projects across this business
- Handling and processing of Reinsurance technical documentation
Essential Skills Required:
- Previous experience within a similar Reinsurance role
- Excellent knowledge of Lloyds/ London Insurance market
- Experience of London Market procedures/ platforms
- Aware of the control and compliance processes that operate around an underwriting function
Desirable:
- Good organisation skills
- Willingness to study for ACII professional qualification
- Strong IT skills
What you need to know:
- Permanent role
- Based in London - hybrid
- Salary between £50,000 - £55,000
