As a Barclays Relationship Manager, you will sit within the Corporate Bank that assists clients in the UK and around the world. Barclays Corporate Bank services medium enterprises, large UK and global corporations and financial institutions. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 35 clients within the Mid-Corporate remit, proactively identifying their needs and working with business partners to provide and execute solutions direct with the client.

What will you be doing?
• Developing practical and appropriate credit solutions / lending structures through understanding customer needs and completing credit applications as appropriate
• Leading and managing the co-ordination, analysis, and execution of complex transactions across the Relationship Director population
• Determining and researching target names and assisting the Relationship Directors in client acquisition, key business introducer and business development strategies
• Updating regularly the Head of Mid-Corporate on team business development results to help the market share growth aspirations
• Owning and driving a personal development plan that helps succession to a Relationship Director role
• Visiting proactively and having strategic discussions with portfolio owned clients a least 4 times per annum
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts within the client's business

• Developed business awareness, to include impact of general economic change on a corporate's business
• Credit Risk Understanding

Where will you be working?
The office is in the heart of the Bristol city centre which is the commercial, cultural and business centre of Bristol and is easily reachable by car or by train with many restaurants and eating places It is the area north of the New Cut of the River Avon, bounded by Clifton Wood and Clifton to the north-west. It is a medium sized welcoming friendly office
