We are seeking a compassionate and professional Repatriation Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team in West Croydon. This role is essential in managing the sensitive process of repatriating individuals who have passed away, back to their home countries. Fluency in French is a must for this position, to effectively serve our diverse clientele.
Position: Repatriation Services Coordinator (French Speaking)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (including rotational weekend and Bank Holiday cover)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide empathetic and efficient customer service in both English and French, handling inquiries, complaints, and providing information about our services.
* Accurately input data into our computer system for case management and issue resolution.
* Engage in problem-solving with customers, offering additional products and services as appropriate.
* Liaise with different departments to resolve billing issues and contribute to service process improvements.
* Participate in promoting the company through exhibitions, meetings, and networking events.
* Gather and update information for International Regulations and Company Bible.
* Make recommendations for improvements in the repatriation process.
* Handle sensitive tasks such as viewing the deceased prior to transportation and meeting with bereaved families.
* Conduct external visits to government offices as required.
* Flexibility to undertake additional duties as needed to meet business needs.
Important Note: This role involves direct exposure to deceased individuals. Applicants must be comfortable and capable of handling this aspect of the job with the utmost respect and sensitivity.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
* Strong empathetic communication skills.
* Experience in dealing with diverse cultures.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
* Computer literacy with excellent attention to detail.
