Contract length: 31st Dec 2024

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.00pm

(Hybrid 1 day in the office - Wednesday)

Rate: £300 - £400 Per day

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Reporting Accountant on behalf of a global company in the Tech Industry. This role is a Hybrid working position Monday - Friday with one day in the office in Stoke Poges, this is usually a Wednesday.

The successful Reporting Accountant will join the Finance Team. This role is fast paced, with a high level of reporting. Ideally you will have worked in a Corporate office previously and reported into senior Management. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever expanding and forward thinking business.

Responsibilities of the Reporting Accountant:

• Processing Journals

• Processing a busy 4-8 day Month Close

• Ongoing Audit work - working alongside the audit team

• Mass extraction

• Use of AI

• SAP/ Excel/ Alpha (CRM System)

• Design balance sheet recs once reviewing current process and handover to the reporting

• team

• Support with converting processes from the current tools to the new version and prepare

• any appropriate instructions for handover to the team

• Support with a solution for mass extraction of data for audit samples; explore options such as whether a robot can be used

Key Skills / Experience Required for the Reporting Accountant:

• Understanding financial data

• Ability to identify and resolve reconciliation items on the balance sheet

• Design best practice processes for common financial processes for example journal bookings,analytical information

• Document and share knowledge of designed processes

• Ability to manage timelines and stakeholder expectations

• Excel intermediate/advance

• Experience of working in an accounting function with high volumes of data

• Proactively investigate queries that come in to the team

• IFRS in particular IFRS 16 and 9

• Experience with digitalisation of processes

• Familiarity with Corporation tax

• Experience of working in a finance function

• Experience of working with Automation/ AI/ Advanced tech is desirable
