Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Location: High Holborn, London

Hours: Full time with majority home working (minimum 4 days per month in the office) Happy to talk flexible working

The Vacancy

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Research and Evaluation Officer to join our Research team. The BSB Research team provides the evidence-base for policy and decision making throughout the BSB. The role will involve designing, delivering and managing both in-house and commissioned research projects. This will involve undertaking amongst other things, qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research, from the development of research materials and surveys, conducting field work (including face to face interviews), through to the analysis of data and evaluation.

Key skills and experience required to undertake the role include:

• a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience) coupled with
• experience of applying qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods data collection and analysis skills to undertake research
• the ability to communicate verbally and in writing, including experience of writing clear and compelling research reports
• the ability to manage several simultaneous research projects and tasks is an essential requirement.

Experience of working in a research or analytical role within a regulatory, policy or public affairs setting is desirable but not essential for the role.
