About the Role
The development of biodegradable polymers and products are a key step towards a sustainable and green future.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated researcher to develop biomass-derived biodegradable polymers and nanocomposites to achieve high-performance products with good melt-processing ability, stability and controllable biodegradability.
This is a joint research project among Sheffield University, Imperial College London and the University of Warwick, sponsored by EPSRC.
It offers you excellent opportunities to work with polymer scientists and biotechnologists across disciplines and universities.
At Warwick, you will be focused on developing biomass-derived nanomaterials and polymers, reactive processing and characterisation.
You will have access to extensive research facilities in the International Institute for Nanocomposites Manufacturing (IINM) Nanocomposites (warwick.ac.uk) WMG, as well as communication with academic and industry partners.
Full details of the duties and selection criteria for this role can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button.
