Day-to-day, that could mean coordinating cooking and cleaning routines, administering medication and arranging school runs, activities and appointments, as well as preparing child-centred reports.
It is shift-based, with late, weekend, Bank Holiday and sleep-in duties. Naturally, we will look for you to ensure the home meets legislation, including Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards and HCC policies. Ultimately, you will be one of the homes influential champions. Ultimately, you’ll be one of the home’s friendly, engaging personalities - ready to help whatever the need.
Whilst no formal qualifications are necessary you will require a resilient personality, you will also have a palpable drive to make a difference for the children in your care. It is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a car.
