Reporting to the Crew Resource & Analytics Supervisor, the Crew Forecasting & Resource Planner is responsible for the production of accurate and detailed resource requirement plans for all Jet2.com crew colleagues. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the ongoing availability of crew colleagues across our operational bases to meet a continuously developing flying programme throughout the year.
What will you do in the role?
The role is responsible for producing resource requirement plans and availability forecasts for all crew colleagues within Jet2.com. You will work closely with the Crew Training and Rostering Teams to manage resource availability and also with the Operations Teams regarding operational contribution levels. You will:

• Work to identify any shortfalls in staffing and optimal periods to allocate training and advise the relevant parties
• Work closely with other teams to evaluate ongoing crew training needs and ensure these are scheduled in an efficient and cost effective way
• You will also provide a link to the Recruitment Team to provide insight into annual requirements and schedule new joiner timescales
  

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
The successful candidate with have excellent IT skills, and be confident in the use of Microsoft Excel, with an analytical and forward thinking approach to problem solving. You will also:

• Be an excellent communicator and a positive and supportive team member
• You will thrive on working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a “can do” attitude
• Resource planning experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
