SalaryRecruitment and Resourcing Officer, permanent, full-time position based in Salisbury Monday to Friday, offering an attractive salary package and excellent employee benefits scheme. Working in the educational sector, we are looking to attract a candidate with previous recruitment sourcing experience, able to demonstrate a solid understanding of safer-recruitment practices gained within education, NHS, Public Sector and/or Local Authority.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you are supported by a part time Resourcer with joint responsibilities for the initial candidate attraction, selection, assessment, and placement process involving professional teachers, support staff and office/grounds-based staff, working with a range of recruitment sources to ensure that only quality and experienced candidates are selected for employment in and around the Salisbury area.
As The Recruitment and Resourcing Officer, you will be responsible for arranging and attending careers fairs, maintaining the organisation's website and candidate tracker systems, capturing and reporting on management information all safeguarding practices and managing job applications. You will need to administer DBS checks as part of the recruitment process, arrange and attend job interviews, assess candidate CV's, check and obtain formal employment references and manage the entire on-boarding process.
The need to build and maintain professional relationships with a range of educational agencies, local authorities, training providers and key stakeholders will be constant. To ensure correct action and process when managing GDPR requirements, acting as the lead on all apprenticeship recruitment and employment, obtaining and maintaining accurate employment history records and personal data are all key elements.
Educated to a minimum standard of GCSE C and above, with 3-5 years previous recruitment experience, combined with professional verbal and written communication skills and an advanced working knowledge of MS Office is key.
