Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides community, hospital and inpatient specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to support our busy Retail Team.
The role is to provide a high level of administrative and practical assistance in supporting the retail shop network, based at the retail office in Welling, with occasional travel to shops.
The post holder will support the management team with administrative work, collating figures and rotas, updating records, managing gift aid administration, and recording maintenance issues.
First class IT skills, including Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint, database and diary management as well as the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required to ensure effective interaction with supporters, clients, prospective customers and the retail team. Previous experience of working in a retail environment would be desirable.
