Salary: Up to £40,000

Highly successful, forward thinking chilled food group, focused on quality of service & products, supplying to leading high-profile food retailers throughout the UK are looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to join the business, due to their continued rapid expansion. This is a brand new role & the successful Brand & Marketing Manager to work with the marketing team of 5 with responsibility for promotions, literature & socials around the food manufacturing side as well as supporting the retail side, marketing anything that goes into the retail outlets – seasonal & Christmas menus etc. The successful Brand & Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the launch of new food brands within the UK & Ireland, working closely with major retailers & will be capable of maintaining strong stakeholder and keyholder relationships.

The Role:
- Responsible for new brand development, product design, new product launch programs & regular campaigns driven by key consumer trends and market insight data so retail marketing performance is continuously driven across brands and channels.
- Responsibility for protecting & growing our brand value working closely with both commercial, technical and food teams & Marketing team to drive the retail proposition and establish the popularity of the various company brands.
- Responsibility for developing & launching new Retail Brands.
- Delivery of the retail annual marketing calendar across all brands and partners.
- Responsibility for creating, monitoring & driving online and offline activity.
- Support & facilitate a local marketing strategy alongside local press & social for all brands.
- Identify and build key business contacts & relationships with retail partners.
- Launch brands, products and associated campaigns within new settings - airports, universities & hotels etc & work closely with partner programmes & manage all promotions and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Food and Technical Teams to develop product proposition across new and existing channels.
- Create and manage all social channels including content creation & work closely with the Digital Team on retail specific ECRM and website updates.
- Lead, support and run photography and videography for all brands online and offline.& manage Brand and Marketing KPI’s and report a monthly marketing with a commercial focus.
- Strong knowledge & focus on key consumer trends with the ability to provide regular competitor and market analysis updates using data.
- Lead all new brand and new product development launches & run consumer focus groups to gather feedback on products, collecting and collating data.
- Accountability for creation, delivery and measurement of all partner marketing plans and brand activations. Responsibility for POS, in-store marketing of retail within retailers as well as labelling and packaging design so products
Required Experience:
- Previous experience as a Brand & Marketing Manager within a FMCG, food manufacturing, good retail or hospitality business with strong all round experience.
- Passionate about food & up-to-date on current trends with a passion for World Food.
- Commercial & creative with a passion for driving brand value.
- Motivated with the ability to work closely with relevant teams, collaborating & communicating to influence & inspire confidence.
- Creative with a strong eye for detail and hunger to build knowledge and grow career.
- Previous experience of stakeholder management & forming strong stakeholder relationships.
- The ability to plan your time, prioritise & deliver under pressure, working autonomously on multiple projects.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing function within food retail, with exposure to product design, national campaigns and partner relations.
- A real interest in new trends to improve products & brands & keep ahead of the curve.
- Proven track record of putting programs into place to drive sales
- Computer literate – ideally with experience of using Creative Suite.
- Strong ability to communicate along with highly developed presentation skills.
