Risk Manager- GBP60K plus bonus- London & Sheffield (Remote)
The Role

Join My Finance Club (MFC), a rapidly growing Fintech company, as we embark on an exciting phase of expansion. We are seeking a Risk Manager, a crucial addition to our team, to play a pivotal role in our journey towards becoming a profitable Neobank. This role, reporting to our CFO, offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of overseeing and enhancing our Credit Policy, and managing credit risk across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse loan and customer data from the past 8 years.
- Assess and update the existing pandas model.
- Recommend and implement changes to the model based on data insights.
- Evolve the company's Credit Policy through analytical assessment of key credit risks.
- Handle credit and portfolio risk analytics for short-term retail lending.
- Manage Credit Risk inputs in underwriting discussions.
- Maintain relationships with JV partners and investors, providing risk metrics analysis.
- Develop risk reporting dashboards.
- Continuously monitor the loan book from a risk perspective.
- Update and maintain the provisioning policy.
- Report to Executive and Board sub-committees as required.

The Person
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, Data Analysis, Data Modelling.
- Experience in loans, particularly in retail lending (preferable but not essential).
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and systems in credit risk management.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
- A proactive team member with high energy and enthusiasm.
