Job Summary

We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

This post is based in the Roads Operations team within our Commercial Service. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of road network maintenance.

Please note, the Service are keen to offer HGV training to prospective employees to assist with continued delivery of the Service. Any applicable employee will move on to Grade 5 following completion of relevant training.

If held - High Risk Drivers (Service are keen to offer HGV training)

This post will require you to carry out high risk driving duties. If held, preferred candidates will be required to complete a Driver’s Health Questionnaire which will be verified by your GP. Please note any costs incurred for the GP verification will be met by the preferred candidate. An Occupational Health Assessment will then be undertaken to determine your fitness for work.
