Job Description

Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities incorporating winter gritting and work of an emergency nature that support the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

Requirements

The Individual

This is a permanent full time post, working 37 hours per week. The post is based at Meadowhead Roads Depot, Coylton, although due to the nature of the post you will work throughout East & South Ayrshire. Hours of work are 8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 3.30pm Friday Annual Salary £26,147 - £27,436
