Safeguarding Manager

The Safeguarding Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing safeguarding policies within my clients NFP organisation. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure all safeguarding processes are diligently adhered to, protecting all individuals involved, specifically for sports safeguarding.

Description

• Develop and implement robust safeguarding policies and procedures
• Provide training to staff on safeguarding issues and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding legislation and guidelines
• Handle any safeguarding incidents in accordance with company policies
• Liaise with external agencies regarding safeguarding matters
• Regularly review and update safeguarding policies
• Create a culture of safety and welfare throughout the company
• Report regularly to senior management on safeguarding issues

Profile

A successful Safeguarding Manager should have:

• An in-depth understanding of safeguarding legislation and guidelines
• Proven experience in managing safeguarding in a related industry
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• The ability to provide training and promote awareness on safeguarding issues
• Experience in handling safeguarding incidents
