Working within a small team, you will be supporting a busy sales office. Our client's business is within the manufacturing sector, and they require candidates who have an adaptable personality, can work well under pressure, enjoys multitasking, and adjust to change with a positive approach. Responsibilities:
- Communicate and co-ordinate with all internal departments to ensure that the customer requirements are met.
- Deliver excellent Customer Service via all communication channels.
- Provide customer information regarding status of purchase orders
- Changes via schedules on existing orders as requested by customer
- Deal with any transport issues and liaise with the customer and the haulier to resolve the issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Generate and place purchase orders with suppliers for direct deliveries, including suppliers overseas.
- Quote prices either from price lists or bespoke quotes
- First point of contact for all queries related to orders
- Process all ad hoc administrative duties associated with department processes.
