£60,000 - £75,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Car/Car Allowance
The Company
My client an independent FMCG Foodservice business specialise in bespoke, high quality food products. We are currently recruiting for a brand new and very key role of Sales Director.
The Role
As Sales Director you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the department hit/exceeds annual sales and margin targets
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Personally manage the key accounts with larger customers
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Identify potential new areas of business growth both with existing customers and new markets in conjunction with the head of commercial
- Lead, manage, train and develop the Field Sales, Telesales and Customer Service teams
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure projected sales can be supported by the Operation
- Reporting to the wider business on functional areas performance, attending monthly senior leadership meetings and Board Meetings as and when required
The Candidate
- You MUST have experience at Senior Sales Management Level within the FMCG Foodservice arena
- Provable track record of increasing sales in Foodservice.
- Strong relationships and connections within the foodservice and wholesale sector
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, strong focus on learning and development
- Number-oriented with strong math skills and well-developed business senses
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial and technical knowledge sufficient to prepare sales budgets, model sales opportunities to deliver product lines at the right cost
- London/South East based
