As a Sales Engineer focused on Location Intelligence solutions, you will be the technical expert bridging the gap between our innovative B2Bsolutions and potential clients. Your role involves understanding client needs, leveraging a deep understanding of our solutions to effectively demonstrate product value, and driving successful sales outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with the Mastercard sales team, the product delivery team as well as product managers, and technical experts to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation:
o Understand Client Needs: Engage with clients to comprehend their business challenges regarding location-related data and insights
o Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our Location Intelligence solutions, including features, functionality, and integration capabilities.
o Translate Technical Concepts: Articulate complex technical details into clear, business-oriented language for clients.
2. Solution Development:
o Value Proposition: Create compelling value propositions that highlight how our Location Intelligence products enhance efficiency, provide unique and impactful insights, help reduce costs, and support decision making to drive revenue.
o Solution Enhancement: Collaborate with the delivery and technical teams to provide feedback on how product changes can address specific client pain points for continuous solution improvement.
3. Product Demonstrations:
o Presentations: Support Sales team by conducting engaging product demonstrations for potential clients.
o Use Cases: Showcase real-world scenarios where our solutions and products provide tangible benefits.
4. Client Relationship Building:
o Build Trust: Establish credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, strategy and marketing team.
o Consultative Approach: Understand client pain points and propose relevant solutions that align with their strategic goals.
5. Collaboration:
o Sales Team Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to create winning proposals and respond to inbound lead as well as RFPs.
o Product and Technology partnership: Collaborate closely with the product and/or technology teams to identify potential product optimizations and enhancements

- Proven experience in data-driven sales, preferably within the payments, telco, mobility, or locations data industry.
- Passion for solving client challenges and driving revenue growth.
- Commercial mindset and negotiation skills to influence pricing, terms, contracts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to balance technical depth with business acumen.
- Strong focus on delivering customer value and experienced in building strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record in collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams; exceptional in facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
