Job Description
The Sales Manager role covers all the key objectives and requirements of a BDM role to achieve individual and team targets for the year. The Sales Manager will report directly into the Sales Director and works closely with them to ensure that they hit sales targets and deliver results for the project they are working on. You will be required to identify prospects, reach out to them via Email, LinkedIn and Cold Calls, all to ensure that you can present the product to as many decision makers as possible.
This is a truly outbound hunting role with high earning potential.
Key Tasks/ Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining new and existing business opportunities across the globe through various channels
- Previous experience selling video is mandatory
- High level negotiation skills
- Working with and speaking to clients and decision makers and building a professional relationship
- Working to and achieving sales targets
- Ability to think innovatively and constantly challenge – striving for commercial success at all times
- Polished written, telephone, and face-to-face communication skills
- Representing the brand in a professional and positive manner
- Learning about the company and what we offer our clients to ensure you are knowledgeable
- Negotiating with existing and potential clients
- Fair and consistent management approach
- Develop an understanding of market forces within market sectors including public and private sector pressures and general political and economic implications
- Build a consistent schedule to ensure you are always managing your clients and exceeding your targets
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Essential - 1-2 years previous sales experience in media/ subscriptions
- A growth mindset- you're always looking to better yourself and we can give you the platform to do it!
- An enthusiasm for the world of media and content creation
- A proven track record of success in a BDM role across a variety of different projects and industry sectors
- Some experience in video production
- Familiarity with relationship management with clients
- The ability to develop relationships where necessary, and confidently manage and tackle performance issues
- The ability to have a highly organised approach to maintaining and developing partnerships
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Highly proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Linked In skills
- Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and adaptability
- Self-motivation and ambition to succeed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
