A Media Production company based in London are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their finance team!
Reporting directly to the Sales Ledger Manager your responsibilities will include:
Updating the cashbook on a daily basis, saving down support and accurately posting entries into the accounting systemWorking with the Sales Ledger Manager to maintain customer accounts, ensuring remittance is obtainedUnderstanding the implications of withholding tax when allocating cash, accurately updating the cashbook and posting cashWorking closely with the Sales Ledger Manager to reduce current debtors, ensuring overdue invoices are chased in a timely mannerUnderstanding the invoicing process and assisting the Sales Ledger Manager with billing when neededPosting of invoices into the accounting systemAccount opening for new customers, other ad hoc tasks as required The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role. You will be a self motivated individual who can work to tight deadlines.
