An established business based in Wisbech are working in collaboration with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Sales & Marketing Support executive.
The business need someone who can be a vital support function in carrying out multiple support duties & activities across the sales and marketing function as well as providing support where needed in other departments. The role will be key in supporting and improving the businesses current sales and service delivery to both new and existing customers.
Key day to day duties to note are:
- Assisting the sales team with internal enquiries from potential customers via web / email / telephone
- Ensuring sales leads are registered with the appropriate internal team member
- Assisting in sales order processing
- Providing information, quotations and product information to enquiries
- Handling customer queries
- Assisting in maintaining regular contact with existing customers in order to promote customer retention, product/service awareness and growth of customer accounts
- Updating the internal databases
- Assisting with marketing in the creation of marketing materials; including email campaigns, press releases, case studies, product brochures, newsletters or website updates etc.
- Helping with general office administration
- Carrying out any other such duties as may reasonably be required
For this position, the business is looking for CV's with many of the following attributes:
- Prior experience in a similar sales support, team support or account management type role
- Holds superb communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Highly organised
- Creative problem solver who insightfully anticipates customer needs and proactively addresses them.
- Creative with some form of marketing exposure
- An industry background or interest in fashion, jewellery or luxury retail would be an added benefit
- Excellent time management skills as well as attention to detail.
- Good ability with MS Office packages, plus any exposure to marketing systems such as canva, mailchimp and Adobe Suite would be excellent but not a necessity.
- Able to commit to a role full time office based in Wisbech
The role is a full time office based position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and the business are looking to offer a salary dependent on experience of between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. Additional aspects to note are:
