Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton. Based from their Head Office in Northampton, they've been servicing the UK for over 30 years. You'll be joining a local and successful family business. You'll be joining a small 5 person Customer Service team.
Summary of role:
Working within and alongside the Sales Support (Customer Service) Executives, you'll support the team with the majority of their administration duties, therefore freeing up the Executives to spend more time servicing their accounts. There will be little contact with customers, except from reception (gatekeeper) duties for the team and directing onto your relevant colleague.
What your day to day will look like:
- Processing manual orders onto their CRM system (a large part of this role)
- Answering inbound calls - reception duties for team (another large part of the role)
- Arranging for product samples to be sent to customers
- General office administration duties
- Investigating the status of orders and providing order updates to customers (often via email)
- Setting up new customers on bespoke system
- Arranging customer returns (unwanted/ damaged items)
