What this role is:
An opportunity to join a business that is a real success story, providing a range of FMCG products to its customer base. In this role, you will take responsibility for managing all customer service and sales administration functions, supporting the company s sales team and playing a crucial role in delivering excellent levels of service to the company s clients. You ll manage a small team, allocating tasks and mentoring your team members.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the accurate processing of customer orders onto the CRM system
- Managing all enquiries from customers (existing and prospective) by phone and email
- Liaison with the company s external Sales Representatives
- Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring accurate completion
- Coach, mentor and guide your team to be able to deliver excellent levels of customer service
- Ensuring an excellent level of customer service is provided at all times
- Ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained with the company s customers
- Act as a point of escalation for any complex customer issues
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data held within the CRM system
- Providing regular reports to the senior management team
- Contribute to sales and marketing activities as required.
What you ll bring to the table:
- Previous experience gained within a sales administration function
- Excellent people management skills able to coach, mentor and guide others to achieve great results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
- Able to work under pressure and independently, whilst maintaining a high level of personal integrity.
- Great relationship-building abilities, able to instil trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
- High level of admin and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Previous experience of CRM systems
- A positive, can-do attitude, resilience and strong team building abilities
