Sales Office Supervisor

£26,000—£28,000 pa
8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Based in Normanton, our Client is the UK arm of manufacturing group. They are looking for a Sales Office Supervisor to work with both the Internal and External Sales team to ensure, orders are processed and ensure full sales potentials are achieved.
As the ideal candidate you will be “Customer focused” with good commercial skills and work proactively to drive the business forward and foster collaboration between the Internal and External Sales teams. A strong process driven background is essential within this role, it’s a great opportunity to improve on the current processes in place and put your own stamp on things.
Duties will include:
- Train, develop and mentor Sales office staff with a view to becoming a more “pro active” sales department
- Develop and set key KPI targets and Objectives
- Provide ‘front line’ support for Trade, Leisure and Online customers
- Develop a back order process and monitor this to ensure we are utilising our stock as effectively as possible
- Monitor stock shortages / requirements and work with Operations Team to ensure delivery schedules are met
- Work with and assist the Field Sales Team, Warehouse and Stock Team
- Actively target new Trade customers
