School Administrator

We seek to appoint two committed and dynamic School Administrators to work within a Cheshire West and Chester school office (working hours 8am - 4pm); providing support across all aspects of school administration, including: management of pupil and staff data, orders and payments, diary management, handling calls and meeting and greeting visitors. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment is essential. Pay for this position will be from £11.68 - £12.50 per hour.

Based in Cheshire West & Chester (CW7) this large secondary schools mission is to become a school of the community that promotes success through inspirational teaching and high aspiration for all.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Secretarial and administrative experience;
• Experience of SIMS (MUST HAVE);
• The ability to prioritise a heavy work load, multi-skill and work on their own initiative;
• Extensive recent experience in the use of IT;
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with external organisations, parents and pupils;
• A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this;
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years;
• Commitment to a possible 7 month assignment
