Senior Accountant

Location: PO1 2AL

Shifts: Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM (Apply online only

Temporary Contract working at least until the end of July 2024 with potential for extension.

Salary: 18.84 per hour PAYE or 23.40 per hour Umbrella rates.

We are recruiting for aSenior Accountantworking in Portsmouth. CCAB accounting qualification is essential along with 2 years' experience post qualified.

Flexible working is available working 2/3 days from home per week.

Roles and responsibilities not limited to:

- deliver a full range of high-quality financial management and accountancy services to a range of clients.

- support the strategic aims

- assist in the management of the accountancy teams including other professionally qualified staff.

- provide specialist knowledge and expertise in order to assist revenue and capital budget process, budget forecasting and monitoring processes.

- will provide financial advice to members and officers and ensures completion of statutory financial statements, statutory returns and financial analysis.

- assists in the role of ensuring that the assets are managed in line with current legislation, the constitution and financial rules and other professional codes of practice.
