Cooper Accounting are seeking an experienced Client Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our firm's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment and limited company clients.
- Oversee the work of junior staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
-Assist in converting clients to cloud software.
-Completion and submission of annual accounts, VAT returns, and CT600s.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a practice setting.
- Minimum of AAT qualification or equivalent is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with various cloud accounting systems such as Xero.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
