The firm has a well-earned reputation as an Advisor to Entrepreneurs and Owner-Managed SMEs, and provides its clients with expert Accountancy & Business Advisory, Tax and Outsourced Financial Management solutions using a variety of cloud and digital accounting systems to offer clients full visibility and understanding of their financial performance.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.
As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:
- Working closely with SME clients , including owner-managed, family owned and entrepreneurial SME businesses
- Reviewing VAT / Bookkeeping and Quarterly Management Accounts prepared by Accounts / Bookkeeping team
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts for growing SME clients
- Preparation of Year-end Accounts and Tax Computations
- Use of Xero and other online software packages on a daily basis

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:
- AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified / ACCA / ACA Qualified
- Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3 - 5 years)
- Experience of preparing Year-End Accounts and Tax Computations
- Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
- Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
