Senior Accountant

Farrer Barnes is currently working with a growing SME buisness that is currently looking for a Company Accountant.
This business has a great reputation locally and further afield, they are specialists in their market. They are looking for someone who would be a good long term fit for them who can provide the MD with valuable insight and will take ownership of the accounts function for the company.
As the Company Accountant, you will play a key role within the business, working closely with the management team.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing the monthly management accounts, including P&L accounts with analysis
• All financial tasks to ensure preparation of the company accounts
• Preparing Cashflows and Forecasts
• Overseeing the payroll function
• Making sure that all government records are maintained and complete
• Business partnering with other departments within the company
• Preparing the  audit files and coordinating with the Managing Director
• The day to day financial administration
