We are looking for a dedicated School Administrative Assistant to join our team and contribute to the vision and objectives of othe the school ethic. Senior Administration Assistant will be an ambassador for the school, providing clerical and administrative support to the School Leadership Team, and ensuring the school’s ethos, work, and aims are upheld. This role requires a commitment to supporting diversity and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
Day to Day of the role:- Provide administrative services to all school sections, ensuring inclusivity.
- Manage statutory returns and assist the Principal and SLT with general tasks.
- Maintain student and organisational documents, both physically and electronically.
- Attend and take minutes at meetings, and support policy writing for the SLT.
- Administer the annual Performance Management cycle and handle confidential staff documents.
- Perform receptionist duties, offering a professional service and managing enquiries.
- Communicate effectively with staff, ensuring messages are relayed promptly.
- Update and manage school meal provisions and assist the Catering Team.
- Coordinate the production of school reports, publications, and policies.
- Oversee stock control and manage the receipt and return of goods.
- Admit and update student records on school systems and maintain data protection standards.
- Manage site security elements such as key logs and staff ID badges.
- Handle finance duties, including purchase orders, debt management, and financial record-keeping.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to the welfare of children in the school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting.
- Proficiency in IT systems and Office 365.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to various premises and tasks as required by the SLT.
